Directions for the wedding read as follows: Drive forever through the sun scorched hills. Set up your tent in the group site. Don't forget to bring climbing gear for the day after.
I was on the fence about this wedding due to schedules and its remote location, but once Jessica and Ysbrand told me their story I could no longer resist. They grabbed my heart instantly by confessing that they met at the Mobile gas station and were both into rock climbing and buying groceries in bulk. They were my peeps.
Sure enough - as I walked in the bride and her bridesmaids were putting together all the farmer’s market flowers. 🌸 🌹 💐 - a beautiful local and seasonal display. Some guests had to take naps to rejuvenate after their full rock climbing day only to give it their most energetic wedding party.
Photo booth by snap yourself rocked.
Lillaskog Lodge turned out to be a real gem, worth all the driving. What a cute and funky place.
