"What's the worst photoshoot you have ever done?" was the question Jeremy chose to ask me when I first met them for an engagement shoot. "You mean other than this one with you two?" I took a dive, trusting in my accurate judgement on his sense of humor. He laughed, luckily for me.
This is when I knew I was going to have the best time ever shooting their Tahoe Vista backyard wedding.
"I'm feeling a bit nervous, but I bet Julia right now is a stone cold hottie" says Jeremy on the day. She was just that! Looking so beautiful while maintaining the least stressed ever bride status.
Julia's hair looked as if she just got done running through the meadow while wildflowers fell on her head, her simple gorgeous dress showcased her boots and had pockets! She looked like tinker bell!
Pockets came in handy as Jeremy and Julia had two sets of vows. Ones were private - where they said to each other whatever they wanted! There were tears and laughs and kisses.
When time came, Jeremy, dressed in what he called "fancy burlap suit" was escorted to the chuppah, followed by Julia and her parents. Now was the time for the other "public" vows.
The evening was full of laughter, great food, misty-eyed toasts and fancy dance moves.
Nothing makes the party happen more than a live band and King Dream was an absolute highlight. The band injected the crowd with energy and the dance floor was instantly full! Everybody danced, even Whiskey the dog and the wedding photographer!
